Yantai-Life Tour-Guides - Summer 2009

	Virginia (Wang Wei) Founding member of the Yantai-Life Tour-Guides Appreciation Club, Virginia doesn't take any bull, she takes no prisoners, and she never takes "NO" for an answer. Like her Chinese name, she only knows "One Way". Always remember that - It's her way or the Highway !! A girl who knows what she wants, Virginai will always make sure that you get to the place you want to go. And as a Tour-Guide, most visitors appreciate her directness.
	Celine Dee "Puzzle" This young lady's nickname is "Puzzle". No matter where you are or what you are doing with her, you will never be able to know what she is thinking. She doesn't like to talk much, in fact, hardly opens her mouth, except when she is eating. But that is not necessarily a bad thing. Celine does the evening tours, mainly to the local night-life, where a smile and a drink is all you need to pass the evening in the most entertaining way.
	Bang Bang Well, if you are a guy who likes the quiet and peaceful times, Bang Bang is not the best choice for you. On the other hand, if you like out-of-doors activities with a few big-ball sports (i.e. not golf or pingpong) then this is your girl. Bang Bang will take you to the top of Ta Mountain for a quick song and a prayer at the temple, and then she will take you on the fast slide down on the toboggan run ending up with ice-cream at the bottom.
	Jasmine Jazz One of our most popular guides, Jazz will take on any swimming challenge! Jazz has single-handedly made the crossing to Long Island (ChangDao in Chinese) and then used both hands coming back. Impressed? She is also quite an accomplished snorkeller and keeps quite a collection of conch-shells and pearl-necklaces at her place. So if you have brought your flippers to Yantai and want to see where the mermaids play, she's the one.
	Lily Pad This young lady is actually half Thai, and her mum still lives in Bangkok. Lily likes quiet and peaceful places, drinking tea, and her hobby is looking at the stars. She loves romantic walks on the beach, and fire-side chats. In fact Lily is usually very shy around a group of people, but when she is one-to-one, her true personality opens up.  Lily usually takes visitors on our museum and temple tours, including the Changyu Wine Museum where you may enjoy a full-bodied red, or a warm-sip of brandy and take in the Yantai wine-culture.
	Mary Li On the contrary, Mary is not a quiet girl, in fact she is quite the extrovert. Mary was raised on a farm, where she still goes back to see her folks regularly. She once had a little lamb whose fleece was white as snow. Mary plays the main role in managing the Rural Tours which include trips to witness livestock and a variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as the fun to participate in grape-pressing and milking.  Occasionally Mary tends bar at the Irish pub in her spare time.

Summer 2008 Yantai-Life Tour-Guides

	Tina Wang: Tina is a traditional Chinese girl with an attitude. Tina enjoys scuba-diving, para-sailing, skiing, and abseiling. Her favorite TV channel is AXA, and she enjoys watching football and listening to heavy metal.
	Yoyo Chen: Yoyo is from Dalian, but recently moved to Yantai. Yoyo is a very outgoing girl, enjoys swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, wind-surfing, sailing, in fact she likes almost any kinds of water-sports. She is the water-babe.
	Fanny Fan: Fanny is a quiet, shy and reserved young lady. Fanny is currently studying Chinese traditional medicine and hopes to begin her studies in western medicine next year. Fanny is very good at playing the Dizi (which is a Chinese flute). Fanny likes to read romance novels, watch foreign films, and when she is in the mood she likes to go to the Golden beach just like most Yantai girls.
	Zoom Zhen: Zoom works as a fitness instructor at the local gym. She works up a healthy appetite and then heads to the local cafe for a protein-plus milk-shake. She is training hard to be selected for the womens' sailing team to compete in the Olympics 2008 in Qingdao. 	Halleluya Li: Halleluya works as a travel agent in the day time and is studying art and culture in her spare time. Her dream is to be a model and to travel overseas. Halleluya enjoys romantic walks on the beach, speaking english, listening to hip-hop, dancing, and playing pool. She is also learning to play golf. I am sure she would be happy to help you arrange for your trip to Yantai !
