Well, here I am for a short while in my home country England.
I arrived on Saturday, and it is Wednesday, and I have had enough of this place, after just 4 days.
I don't feel happy, I don't feel I even want to be here, your my friends and you are all in China.
I have been in Korea for a seven weeks, with work, which I feel is a miserable place, I am sorry if there are any Korean people reading, but the Chinese welcome is far superior.
Yantai, a place I feel welcomed, wanted, and invited, a place I could live, (met a nice girl) and a place for a family, yes, I could very easily live in Yantai.
At the end of my 'work period' in Korea, I was due to go to Yantai for a few weeks, for my 'vacation' but one thing lead to another, and I HAD to go to England first.
By order of the company, go home first, do not stop in Yantai, do not even think about getting off the plane.
So I am back here in England.
I have been home for a few days, totally unhappy, but I am about to finally get to Yantai. To the warm welcome I get, from many friends.
yes, I look forward to returning to Yantai, even though it is cold and snowy, there is always the warmth of the people.
The smile from strangers, the 'hello' from people you never met before, people I don't even know, just passing along the side walks, or the shopping malls, or RT Mart.
This my dear friends, is what I feel sets Yantai so far apart from my home county, and many other places.
You know how to make foreigners feel at home, and relaxed.
I don't expect this post will make much sense to most, on here but there are a few people who know me, and will know just how much I like Yantai.
So my Chinese Yantai friends, feel honoured, feel privileged, that you are Chinese, feel happy you are from, or live in Yantai, because one day, I would also like to be part of Yantai, and live here also.
